In 2002, through the contributions of Glacier Park, Inc. (GPI), the Ford Motor Company, the National Park Foundation and many others, the Glacier National Park Fund was able to help return the fleet of 33 historic red buses to the roads of Glacier National Park. Keeping the fleet on the road is a big job. To help, an endowment has been established to support the future repair needs of these great vehicles. Besides the donations that are made directly to this Fund at the many GPI locations throughout the Park, The Glacier National Park Fund also offers an easy on-line way to contribute to the “Red Bus Endowment” so that we can all continue to enjoy the amazing experience of seeing the Park from a historic Red Bus.
